Athletic Programs

Algoma Christian School helps its athletes develop their given abilities through discipline, training, and teamwork. We start at a young age offering physical education beginning in kindergarten. 

Along with rigorous academic programs, ACS offers interscholastic athletic competition to our students beginning in fifth grade. We also invite home-school students to participate where space is available.

ACS now competes in the Great Lakes 6 League.

Developing The Whole Person

We believe that God has gifted each student with unique interests and talents, and so the school offers a comprehensive program of complementary subjects that enable each child to explore and develop his or her abilities beyond the academic subjects. While we recognize that a sound academic program is essential, we feel that it is short-sighted to cut funds to programs that enable students to express their God-given gifts through the Arts and Athletics program. Our program changes somewhat from year to year based on the interests of staff and students, but it always includes elements from a broad range of athletic and artistic endeavors.
